Its ok to be scared, mav. Dont ever think otherwise. Fear helps to keep us alive. its an evolutionary trait, and a damn useful one.


What isnt ok is to allow fear to control you. let it modify your actions. let it keep you sharp. but dont let it control you.


You might get hurt, but you wont get killed. dont be afraid of pain. pain isnt dangerous. if you tap or lose consciousness, thats it. game over. i'll help you up and shake your hand. im not interested in anything more than that. hell, if you actually show up and face your fear of confrontation, i might even buy you a beer afterwards if youre in any shape to sit at a bar for a while.


I think youre projecting in your responses, mav. dont be afraid, and please dont make me waste a few hours and a bunch of gas getting there.
