In all honesty when I was leader of Boyz N'Tha Hood we challenged DA to a guildwar at the naggy prep area... They refused to fight and instead we trained and got told on

There are a couple UO servers with some fantastic PvP that I can point you towards, but EQ is definitely not known for it's PvP.

WoW pvp was great in vanilla pre-arena and BGs. Had oodles of fun back then

WSG was some of the most fun PVP I have ever done. Shit stomping the opponent with your best crew until you finally got matched up with the top ally guild for a ridiculously long battle was awesome.

Wow failed in one huge aspect as far as pvp was concerned, and that was the ability for a level 60 to gank any level they wanted in a contested zone. At least EQ PvP has systems in place to prevent that. And UO wasn't worth the installation time imo, much less the time it took to do anything in the game.
