Meh I'm terrible because I take a long time to zone, get caught out when exping and have 400+ ms, meaning if you have a spell with the same cast time, you can run in range, cast the spell and run out of range, before I can get the spell off with the same cast time.

I've tested this btw... had a 2 hour duel with Vyrenoth... I couldn't get deflux (3 sec) or pyrocuror (4 sec) off when he could get mana sieve (3 sec) off by weaving in and out of max range... The only spell I got off was poison bolt and most of the time it landed it failed to register on his client in time to interrupt channelling... ping and being close to the server is a huuuuge advantage... you gotta be an ignorant redneck to not realise this... you can't even swarm kite with a ping higher than 150...

Goes to show how much you know. It's a knock back and interrupt. Plus it makes a good precursor for ebolt so it can't be cured.

It was the only short spell worth casting, given that anything longer wouldn't connec because of ping difference.

All I'm gonna say is that azrael makes me a huge celebrity for having a huge ping disadvantage and dying occasionally in pvp.

I'd usually have moved on by now, but azrael members are coming out of the woodwork to post their 2 cents.
