I remember this exact trade dupe thing happening to me before I quit

Was buying something in EC, went to trade with a buyer, couldnt open trade/was laggy. He camped out and came back and we completed the trade. Next time I logged in I had the item and the plat on my cursor.

The question is, is it possible to stop this behavior to no longer dupe? logic says if the dupe doesnt work anymore, then no reason for the DDOS'ers to continue to pay money to lag the server enough to dupe stuff. (assuming they are paying money to DDOS the server because they are making a lot more money RMT'ing the proceeds)

Why would they wipe the server before Velious is released? Doesn't make any sense.

If they wiped it now, by the time we were that far into the timeline, we still wouldn't have Velious. So it wouldn't hurt the wait for Velious.
