Im a 43rd lv wizzy!! Things are just now getting fun...but having lots of probs getting this lv 39 spell and IVU. Hoping a high lvl wizzy can tell me where to go and how to get them. /smile

This spell and other velious ports no longer require the tooth component with the addition of SoL

Looks like this spell was put on a Vendor in Skyshrine when SoL came out? Not sure, but did drop prior to SoL. Keep in mind the dragons tooth is required to be able to use these portals.

This spell is added a few days after Velious release. The exact date is 25 Jan 2001

The vendor is indeed in Skyshrine.

The same applies to Wakening Lands Portal and Cobalt Scar Portal

This is taken from an e-mail I just recieved.

Zone: Skyshrine
Vendor: Guardian Trekolz
Location: +322, -874 This is a secret area. In order to find it, Enter Skyshrine. Go through the first gate, turn left. At the next intersection, turn left and then an immediate right. Go up the stairs then take the first right. Go all the way to the end of this hall, past all the doors then turn left. This hallway will dead end, but at the dead end you fall through to the spell vendor room.
Ignore the above location and follow this map. =)

This spell is level 44 at launch and NOT level 39.

It is changed to 39 at a later point in time. Exact date I cannot recall/find but the post on graffe clearly states that it will happen in the next patch (post is dated 7 June 2001)

I found this spell on a mob in Skyshrine.

Keep in mind this is a Wizard only specific spell, not to be confused with the other IVU spell currently in game

This spell is dropped by Elder Holgresh in Holgresh caves in Wakening Lands.

The spell is available right at Velious release

This spell is definitely a one person targetable spell. Must be grouped with person you intend to translocate. We have seen 2 drop in the Plane of Growth off of the horses. Incredibly usefull spell for zones with one way entrances.

This spell was found on a chodoki rat in necropolis. I feel this is one of the most useful spells we get in velious. You target a member of your party, click this spell and they are sent to their own bind spot. Ever had a case where a tank needed to leave but you were the only wizard and then the raid had to end? Well, with this spell you no longer have to worry about that.

This spell will teleport your targetted group member ( must be in group ) to their bind spot. This spell is available right at velious launch.

Like all translocate spells, a portal fragment is required. Portal fragment is available in Solro temple from Terblyn Zelbus who sells the rest of the translocate spells too.

Note that at this stage of Velious ( launch ), a wizard can translocate himself if he want to ( even though he can gate )

The self translocation is removed later at 8 May 2001

Translocate Fay/Tox/North/Combine is added same time as Translocate Group.

Translocation spells: Five new Wizard 'push' spells have been added (Translocate: Fay, Tox, North, Combine and Group). Translocate spells send the group to the location, while the Wizard remains behind. Translocate Group sends everyone in the group (except the Wizard) to their own bind points. Translocate Group can be found on NPCs in Velious (and they won't give them up easily). The others are available on an exclusive vendor. All Translocate spells (even the original Translocate) have confirmation boxes that must be accepted before the target will be sent. And Wizards can no longer Translocate themselves.
Some lower 39th and 44th level Velious spells have had their drop rates increased.

No mention of when the rest of the wizards translocate (vanilla and Kunark) is added but if you look at the spell list at this wayback of graffe they are already all there
