The point is that people don’t have confidence in going out because they’re afraid. Leadership might’ve mitigated that. Procedures for minimizing infection certainly would’ve. China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea are open for business

We should be too, but rednecks won’t wear masks for their country. SAD!
People are afraid because they're being told this is worse than it is. More importantly they are being told they can actually have a meaningful impact on it's spread. The data does not show this. I'm certainly afraid of car accidents but it doesn't mean I sell my car and weld myself in my home. Life has risks.

It's such a perfectly designed (not saying it's engineered calm down) disease for political exploitation by literally anybody. It's super deadly, it's not super deadly, there is a significant percentage of both false positive and false negative testing, you can have it and be completely asymptomatic but still spread it, you can not actually have it and get a false positive test and think that you're one of the asymptomatic carriers who is now cryptonite to grandma. It's a big bucket of fun for all!

The part where the Ukrainian guy says thanks Hunter for getting that meeting with your father when everyone remembers Joe saying he never met the guy. Also the part where Hunter tells his daughter he won't treat her like Joe treats him; making him give 50% of all the money as a kickback. There's some more where Hunter is asking a Chinese guy if the deal has changed, because as he understood it he would be getting tons of money for him and his dad and now it seemed the Chinese guy was changing the deal.

I wasn't going to mention it this early because yesterday it was only one day, but today it's been a couple of days where Biden is starting to trend downward in several key battleground states. Looks like the voters are starting to pay attention to Rudy's gambit. Twitter and FB did everyone a giant favor when they started censoring the story so that way they Streisanded it to hell and back and everyone at least knows something is going on. Good job Jack Dorsey, you fucking cretin, you helped sink Biden!

Look at the blue line. Look at it dip in all 5 states above. Will the dip continue? What else will Rudy reveal?

This is very exciting.

In his 2014 memoir, Worthy Fights, Leon Panetta, Obama’s director of the Central Intelligence Agency at the time of the National Security Council meeting in question, wrote (on page 318) that at the meeting, “Biden argued that we still did not have enough confidence that bin Laden was in the compound, and he came out firmly in favor of waiting for more information.”

In his 2014 memoir, Duty, then-Defense Secretary Robert Gates wrote that he and Biden were “the two primary skeptics” of the raid during national security team meetings that were held in March and April 2011 to debate whether to strike the compound. Gates wrote that “Biden’s primary concern was the political consequences of failure.

During the fateful meeting in question on April 28, 2011, Gates said “Biden was against the operation.”

And in her 2014 memoir, Hard Choices, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wrote only that “Vice President Biden remained skeptical” and had “concerns about the risks of a raid.”

He was wrong on Ukraine and he was wrong on Bin Laden.

I hate saying Obama was right about both of these but he was. Getting involved in intercine Slavic border-disputes is usually a bad idea. Everyone forgets that The Ukraine as it presently is was a construct state of the USSR and as such had it's borders determined for different considerations than 'welp we should make it like a real country in case something happens in the future'. The Crimea is not Ukrainian. It belonged to various Tatars and such and then to the Russians. Ukrainians compose 11% of the population there. Same with the Don-Bass. That's ethnic Russian.

We really need to stop trying to "destabilize" Russia by providing arms to the idiots they are trying to deal with. We should encourage Russia to stabilize it's borders and settle all disputes with it's former client states so we can all move on.
