TMO talked big shit and got destroyed. Its a Red server and they are bloobs.
There's ways to show respect without "sucking dick" and all TMO thought they would do is take their bullshit from Blue and come right on over and dethrone a fully geared Red guild, completely disregarding the PvP aspect of the game. The issue probably isn't "disrepsect" as much as the fact that there was never even "respect" to begin with. Their goal was not to co-exist, grow, and compete. Their goal was to dominate and talk big shit. As was eloquently stated previously, they tried to throw warm bodies at PvE while completely disregarding PvP. I would -almost- feel bad for TMO but Blue server put up with their shit for years. They are a bunch of arrogant assholes that shit up P99 and shit up the boards constantly. Im glad they went to Red and got annihilated. They "got what's coming to them" and I am overjoyed.

Drakar's rants are pretty funny. Someone who doesn't know whats gone down the last 2 years would think Empire/Holo has run the box since day one and has never let anyone compete based on those ramblings.
Except at this time last year "the resistance" was shitting all over them with 3x the numbers until the better guild with the better strategy ran them off the server (again). Also the part where he was in every big zerg guild ever created here until he sperged out over loot and now thinks big zerg guilds are horrible for the server.

"Its an on-going investigation we can't comment" Police-state style tactics, hiding behind policy and protocol. No transparency to the process. Accounts handed back, and sometimes never handed back. Some accounts handed back butt-naked. Some guild banks permanently banned (indefinitely investigating is the same thing as a permanent ban for all intents and purposes). I don't think we need to go over this again. Kergan's link is only a starting point. If you were in teamspeak during the Nihilum era, or saw the conversations deru was having regarding these petitions and investigations in the aftermath of the Nihilum guildbank debacle... the logs the screenshots.. Its not even spoken on. Vapo and others lived through this. Not to mention that special website we can't mention had traders verifying some interesting market findings. Let deru sleep. This is years old. Still easily top 2 GMs of all time.

Bottom line try the Red99 out if you like it great if you don't then its ok. Read the forums but take all of it with a grain of salt(truth) know that if you bruise easily or don't like pvp this probably isn't the place for you. Stay out of /ooc and forums then you will enjoy the server a lot more. Stay out of politics and infighting and you will leave a lot of chances on the table. Don't bow, grovel, or bend knee for/to anyone once you do that you are asking to be pushed around and abused. In the end you have to decide how you will play the game as you did when you decided who/what you wanted to be. The big difference is this game just leaves a lot more chances for do overs within reason and you can always walk away from it if it becomes too much.

Outside of the banning of Nihilum guildbank alts for "security reasons", locking BIS accounts of "retired players" again for security reasons, and making a few bucks on the side, Derubael was actually a really great GM and one of the best staff members P99 and R99 has ever had.
Paymelinda was a terrible GM. Derubael actually put time into R99 and gave normal players sweeping reforms i.e. LNS (best thing to ever happen) and was always friendly to R99 and put his heart into his work. Deru was willing to get down and dirty into the issues and invested a lot of time into a toxic community. Deru did enough good deeds to earn a quiet retirement either way.
