Calls Grow to Boycott Starbucks After Two Black Men Arrested for Not Making Order

Calls are growing for a boycott of the Starbucks coffee shop chain after police were filmed arresting two black men waiting for a friend in a branch in Philadelphia.

Under the #BoycottStarbucks hastag on Twitter, people accused the chain’s employees of racially profiling the men, and criticised police for arresting them when they refused to leave.

1) I don't really think there is a big call to boycott...I think there is an organized effort trying to create a call to boycott.

3) Its a great race-baiting story...there's going to be a bunch of sanctimonious idiots that act like its a given that Starbucks should just let anyone who wants to sit in their stores indefinitely without ordering.

4) Is this a set up?...How long were these guys there? Why didn't they leave after the store asked them? Then they asked to use the bathroom like they were baiting the situation. Then they refuse to leave after police asked them repeatedly? lol? Some random white dude there just happens to be filming the whole thing and super on-their-side?

The broader implications of this stuff with Facebook (also google, twitter et al.) and their shadow profiles...is that is very fucking easy for private entities with access to this data to manufacture outrage and perhaps even protest. If you have ever gone to a BLM protest or expressed negative views about one...you can expect to be targeted with stories about the latest black-white controversy (usually regarding police).

The way in which these stories are reported are very suspicious. Generally the part where police use force and nothing else is released first...followed by a release of more of the video after the shit hits the fan.

The comment sections are spammed with hardcore racist comments. Its a known strategy to use unrealistic over-the-top comments from the opposition to increase negative views of the opposition and whip your faction in line.

For example, when Trump announced the Muslim ban, There are bots saying "This is proof that Trump is just as bad as Hitler and planing to purge the country of all minorities!" And the retards in red take the bait and feel good bashing the bots (which get bot up-votes).

Now it could just be there are that many people that just can't wait to be 1850's racist against blacks on the internet...but it seems like racism rarely manifests in this form (its usually slightly more subtle at least) and the comments are always completely over run with some kind of Klan tavern filled with drunk racist trailer trash.
