Yea obv there’s too much overlap in the slows and buffs with shm/enc. I’d say Druid pairs better due to at least offering snare for safer charms

But nothing beats enc/clr. I actually only did this duo one time with this dude from forums who had a max’ed out 60 of almost every class. And we wrecked through Chardok for a while
I agree Druid is better for most situations

Pally > Druid breakin dem big scary rooms though

This thread gonna go on longer than the shaman / enc duo in The Priest Forums

Shaman suck with ENC as a duo partner compared to Paladin / Cleric btw
Enchanter toolkit is absolutely broken, the clarity line should have gone to wizards and I will die on this hill

If we are starting from the assumption that the millions and millions we’ve sent has been mismanaged

And the assumption we can’t enforce what another country’s leaders do with our money we give them

Then the way to get change with that country (or any entity) is to cut them off. It’s just like a relationship. You have a spouse who is toxic in some way, you try pleading, you try plying, you try everything to make them change but you can’t control them. So you say “fine I’m leaving” and then, and only then, SOMETIMES, after a while they say “ok if you come back I really will change”

And then only sometimes they mean it. But it can be a way to get net positive change when everything else fails

The problem with it is the counter-tactic is emotional blackmail

That’s what gets the sad parents to take their homeless drug addict adult kid back in the home: “Look at how much I’m suffering mom and dad. Do you really want to watch me die?? I’m in so much pain, please help your son”

Once the bodies start hitting the floor in Africa, that will be their leader’s first tactic. And depending on the devastation, it might be enough on its own to start swaying some in congress on the right

Emotional blackmail is powerful, no one wants to watch people die en mass. Holding firm to boundaries in the face of suffering is one of the hardest decisions to make in life. It’s why Al-anon support groups exist for family members of substance abusers
