Perhaps, but it could also make the game more casual and lighthearted knowing you most likely won’t have a permanent character. Hard to twink out grief alts when playing solo at level 36 is an achievement.

Maybe something like a 2 week lockout of a character on death, or something like that, which will have the desired effect of making PvP a little bit more risky, but allowing people to feel like they are still making progress on a character

Permadeath is awesome and great but no it makes it insanely non casual where the entire game is getting high enough level to win and then killing everyone before they can compete. It’s a “grief” specific server in that way and the winner gets a hard win standing literally over the corpses of their (now level one and naked) opponents.

Vanilla rallos is the best idea IMO but I think two teams Sullon maybe the most likely as it’s viable and still let’s people play eq they way they’re used to (raiding 24/7)
