root really wasnt an issue on 3.0 - it was pretty balanced. when you casted it would land like 1/4 times or something, but only last for a very short duration, sometimes only half a second. usually off within 5-10 seconds. and this was at ~150 mr

so it was a good way to keep someone put for a moment, but not the end of the game when you got rooted.
