you all should be happy ukrainians wanna die for their land, when most of you would have fled

not because its tough and manly to defend one's territory, but because when the ukrainians can't hold the russians back anymore, NATO is going to intervene, this is already decided.

No, you don't need a press release or leaked document to know this. You know this because it's always better to fight your wars on someone else's land. Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania don't want wars fought on their land, and their boots will enter ukraine when the ukrainian efforts fail. They know that they are next on the block after ukraine falls, those-in-the-know, understand that Putin isn't trying to rebuild the soviet empire, he is trying to shore up the routes by which Russia has been invaded ~50 times. US civvies don't comprehend this well because the only invasion they have faced is mexicans with backpacks of drugs.

simple math explains that these guys can't hold back the soviet onslaught, so then its UK, US, CA, france blah blah blah who will have to go given NATO's article 5.

both world wars started as smaller regional conflicts, we are witnessing the start of WW3

If Russia, not Putin, Russia believes that it's going down, it will definitely take the rest of us with it in a nuclear exchange, its written into their constitution in no uncertain terms.

This leaves western military strategists with a delicate balancing act of arming the ukrainians just enough to keep the russians mired down in bloody stale-mate type conflict on ukrainian land because thats better then doing it in france, again.

germany, while being a nato member, is giving off some real wishy-washy vibes because its not reliably sunny or windy there and they buy all their energy from the russians.

need to watch those krauts too, the political winds can shift super fuckin fast, they don't have to turn around and invade france all over again, they can fuck things up as a voting member of NATO and economic power if they want to

unfortunately there aren't enough nuclear weapons to actually hit the reset button.

yes, the libbies are constantly crying about the 11k or so nukes that the powers admit to owning, but what nobody really knows is how nuclear war theory goes.

it's not even close to enough to hit just the major population centers, of which there are tens of thousands on their own. you gotta hit every military base, every missile silo, every forward deployed battery, every surface ship. and you'll still never get the submarines

if any of these things are more then like 5km apart, they each require their own nuke, and more then half of everyone's nuclear stockpile are ground penetrators to hit the silos and command bunkers and those are usually based on 50 year old location data.

so in a nuclear war the vast majority of nuclear explosions will occur underground or at sea.

our "modern" weapons are a hell of a lot more "clean burning" than the ww2 nukes also, if your bomb produces a shitload of radiation that means it wasted most of it's energy as energetic particles and not shockwaves so we can't expect billions to die from radiation poisoning.

the dirty nasty reality of all that is most of the victims of a nuclear exchange are gonna die of dehydration, starvation, predation from other humans, sickness and other fates much slower than getting blown up or irradiated.

the irony, as the anti-war bitches would always have it, is that nuclear de-arming guarantees that civilians suffer a hell of alot more after a nuclear exchange.

While Ukraine is winning, they should take the opportunity to do all of us a favor, and invade Russia and depose Putin.

Carpe Diem!

seriously? this is exactly why NATO isn't providing ukraine with long-range weapons

the strategy has to be to force the russians to waste away in the mud fields of ukraine so that they have nothing left to go elsewhere, then take a sliver of ukrainian territory as a consolation prize.

Most of the world hates the United States now, and Ukraine is an extension of US political overreach; on top of that establishing a cleft within NATO, NATO is also pissed at the US for not delivering them the freedom to force children into NATO's desired role as catamite fuck toys, so good luck with the whole NATO thing.

I know MY children are not gonna go die for your catamite concubine wars.
