RMT is a real problem, but until the project is completely shut down it will not be taken seriously apparently.

I don't think you've successfully made the case for the festering cancer of RMT. It doesn't seem to dominate the game as far as I can see. The high end raids and camps seem to be dominated by the #1 guild and a handful of particularly clever or persistent farmers. This is different from live how?

It isn't any different, but does it make if anymore right? That's my case. My case is that no matter what, significant or not RMT is wrong. That's it. Technically speaking it can infact make the server cease to exist if the proper people caught wind of if. I don't care if it happens, it doesn't affect me one iota.

So it's a HUGE problem, and there could be DIRE consequences! But it's pretty much like every MMO ever, you have no evidence of any particular concentration here and you don't actually care, but you're here to explain the moral corruption of someone buying or selling virtual toys?

Just voicing my opinion, much like you are. I just said it doesn't affect me at all. But I am all for a good argument. You still haven't said I am wrong. I am not saying its a huge problem, please quote me saying it was. It's just against the rules, there is no grey area on the matter.

I do think you're wrong. I think RMT is a minor issue on the server as a whole and I think the number of people who care about it all are very small.

That was pretty impressive, Tarathiel; you managed to stretch a metaphor until it broke (white knight? really?) at the same time you made a baseless and generalized accusation. In my experience, it's the people who espouse the purity of their own values who are generally pulling shady shit behind closed doors.

In other news, I heard that at least three of the scarce level 60 players in BDA quit today.

i dont know what else you would call it, its wrong, and you guys are defending it like some fat chick you wanna bang. baseless generalization? i think not, its pretty well known that when a certain raiding guild left this server their competition bought up all their toons. the paypal logs have been posted numerous times. and as far as me being shady thats just funny, i have one toon on this server that is 60 that i have played since the start(my highest lvl alt is lvl 38), and all of my gear i got the old fashioned way. thanks for paying attention tho

you do realize the accounts/items were bought in platinum and then the platinum was RMT'd, right?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessory_%28legal_term%29

whatever the case may be, your guilds actions put the entire server at risk
