You're right, I DONT KNOW. Thats why I'm not being an idiot saying "this is how I remember it so it must be true" because that could be the original way, it could be after a patch way, it could be the 2002 way, or it could be the 1999 way. Without evidence I dont make claims of "this is how it should be since I remember it this way"
The logic here is simple, just because you remember it a certain way, without evidence, making a claim is plain idiotic. If you feel there is a problem, find the evidence to back it up, don't rely on the developers to already know if you're correct or not. Don't make a claim in your posting that its "Game breaking raid issue: Sirran the Lunatic" and then your evidence is "I remember it differently". Thats akin to chicken little saying the sky is falling! If you can't find evidence, then maybe you should tone down the rhetoric first and say, I dont remember this, but I believe its incorrect, could someone please help me find some evidence that its working as intended and not an erroneous piece of code? When someone else finds evidence such as http://www.therunes.net/g-charm.htm that state chanters WERE able to charm him, perhaps you should acknowledge you were WRONG, instead of screaming to the heavens that you're still right because it was "fixed" at some point, and because you provide "evidence" about a different mob entirely does not mean you're correct about the mob you listed in the title of the thread. Read this as, if Key Master isn't currently DTing, then make a post about the KEY MASTER, not SIRRAN! Just because people are using it to their advantage while he IS charmable does not make it "game breaking", because at some point it WAS allowed. We're here for the CLASSIC experience, bugs / exploits and all. If things were fixed in 2005 because they "never should have been that way" but always were from 1999 up to that point, then they SHOULD NOT get changed here because thats not part of our timeline. Until you can find the evidence of charming Sirran being removed / changed, there is no reason for the Developers to take it out because nobody knows WHEN it should be removed. You posted about bard songs being fixed, but NOT about dictate. You claim that when the bard fix was implemented that it also fixed dictate. This MIGHT BE true! How can we know if that is true or not? EVIDENCE! How do I feel about invis pulling? FEELINGS have nothing to do with it. If it worked the way it did on live, during the timeline we are in (our current timeline is somewhere between Sep 19 2000 when epics were released and Dec 6 2000 when Velious was released or anything prior to now, then its correct. If it doesn't match the way it worked on live during that time frame, it is incorrect. | ||

Did some testing on EQ mac this week (FWIW) Arrow tagged a wyrven in WW, hit instant invis (ranger AA) ran around the zone invis with my mob and got many non see invis adds on the same faction in my train, all while invis. Almost died !! I can confirm that in the POP expansion you can not invis pull. Could you do that in Kunark ? IDK & IDC
