Why is this not in RnF yet and why was it not posted there to begin with? I find this whole thing screams of "look at me i was victimized! feel sorry for me". Fuck that. I do not approve of corpse camping but I also dont approve of causing drama seeking to have a legion of sympathizers behind you to somehow validate your position. Its a wash imo.
Also we are expected to just take it on your word that this corpse camping happened becuase IB was butthurt over you "doing well" in pvp? The story is onesided. I think it was done becuase the oppertunity presented itself. Nothing more or less.
Something you learn in pvp early btw if you are being griefed. just log. its a game. you dont HAVE to be there. go do something else and come back. If you got killed for hours on end its becuase your own stubborness got you killed. dont log in and turn it around, you grief the griefers. they waste time sitting staring at walls waiting for a body that will never show up.

the difference is this is a "private project" not a SOE development.
some respect for the devs that have opened this up for us to even be here in the first place I would think would curt-tail some of the asshatery activity and behavior.

but then again...blah... boys will be boys

On the one hand, we don't have to answer to a lot of you little trolls and whiners on this thread.

On the other hand, we do care about our relationship with people like daydrem and rhalous and we'll be in contact with you as well as other people involved that matter.

I'm retired actually

It's more fun to get a rise out of thin skinned people on these forums then to play the game to be honest

And LOL @ you pretending your abuse of charm is skill or something bro

I've seen IB zerg CT with 45 people. Don't even go there haha

Didn't you know that our society's silly sense of entitlement demands that everyone, no matter how insignifigant to you, matters?

No one in anything really matters, but people sure like to feel like they do [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Of course I'm sure a good number of the people on this server are limited in their EQ time being busy sleeping with the 7 model girlfriends they are juggling, driving their Ferraris, and being the center of all social interaction in their hometown.
First of all, my Ferrari is in the shop, so I've been driving the Maserati... therefore nice fail on the stereotype there. Plus, everyone knows you maximize your EQ time by sleeping with your 7 supermodel girlfriends simultaneously. Honestly, who has the time and effort to juggle when you're the center of all social interaction in your hometown???

Can everyone take a deep breath?

It was my wedding anniversary yesterday, so I missed out on this deluxe PVP event! Reading this as a not very objective third party, it's a little confusing. It sounds like Divinity challenged DA to a fight in arena, is that correct? And then everyone had fun until IB killed everyone and zone camped arena? Let me ask one more thing: did anyone concede defeat and ask for look and scoot?

I've played more than a little PVP myself and I have to point something out here: griefing takes cooperation. No one can grief you if you log out, switch to an alt or just wait for a while to get your corpse. If you get tired of PVP, you can stop at any time, say thanks for the fun and do something else. Your corpse will be there when you log in next time.

This is a whole lot of drama over a whole lot of nothing. No one lost any experience or gear. PVP happened in a PVP zone. There were no victims here. No one really died. Those are just characters in a video game.

Please try to keep some kind of perspective.

Looks bad on the server period.

IB: For doing the corpse and ZL camping. Those screenshots are pretty definitive.
Divinity: 1) thread looks like a massive qq, and 2) for not considering the possibility this sort of thing could happen.

Was going to say how the hell is Karsten being the mature one in all this with his "We'll deal with it" post. Good thing I hit refresh.
