There is nothing that states that foodstamps are solely for the unemployed.

Via the NM SNAP website: "The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps many low- income households buy the food they need to stay healthy, productive members of society. "

Low-income. Not homeless / jobless.

I'm not going to take a second job while I'm in school. I don't need to when I'm able to get assistance. Why put myself through murderous semesters when I have other options? I'm working 28 hours a week, the max being 30 under student employment rules. The whole "omg work more" thing doesn't work either.
