The evil DE chick paladin (WTF is a an evil dark elf paladin though anyway…) has a decently hot face but not into her voice. I always had a thing for dark elves

And yea, I heard you can hit the level cap of 12 while still in act 2, or maybe it was early act 3. I always used to use a cheat in BG to remove the level cap…

most editions of DnD/D20 systems the math starts to spin out of control at high level, sweet spot has always been like lvl 3 - 10 of the bell curve.

they got rid of alignment and the class restrictions based on it in 5e, not allowed to have a race that is 99.99% evil like dark elves with the one exception being a ranger named Drizzt because that's a racism. the average player group today consists of half the group being KOS things like Tieflings or Dragonborn being hand waved with a hooded cloak to hide their face + the paladin doing all the talking so the entire game isn't based around every new town you come across wanting to kill the entire party

reminder that Mystara in the 1980s did it better and forgotten realms is dumb

BG3 legit looks like a queer / furry convention to me and I find myself conflicted and amused by the irony of asking a DnD game why can't you be normal?

it's been trending that way for a while, since Dragon Age with the computer games and 4th edition for the tabletop game. old school players realized they don't need WOTC dictating how the game is played to them considering you can't trademark a rules system they just make content they want for themselves.

while wizards is publishing books like the critical role campaign setting, shit from the magic the gathering universe and a rip off of harry potter called Strixhaven

it's literally two separate customer bases now that want nothing to do with each other.

Oddly enough I am playing bard, lol.

Its just not a game for PS5 I'm finding. All the streams I watched prior to buying it were PC...its just a bit clunky for console but I'm probably just slow getting used to it.

sucks to hear you're not having as great of a time as most of the rest of us.

i havent picked it up on ps5 yet. i was going to get it to play through with my wife on couch co-op, but she's since suggested we try wow hc instead. eventually ill likely pick it up although im hesitant now with you saying its a bit clunky.
