If my rogue was 100 I’d probably make a character for season 1. Since I’ll likely not be there before the season starts I think I’ll just keep working on him. Perhaps for season 2 I’ll try it out.

There isnt anything great that happens at level 100. Think P99 without any raiding option or epic quests, you hit 60 and... welp cool... time to roll an alt. I have a 100 Barbarian and 98 Druid.

Fun game, but they need to tweak the 80-100 experience significantly or give us some sort of longer term goals. The loot chase leaves a lot to be desired and the feeling of progression basically stops completely. D4 isnt really a great game to binge like EQ/P99, its only fun in a couple of hour bursts.

Seasonal play is the only way to really enjoy Diablo4 long term, on the Eternal Realm I cant see any reason I would ever log in again once the season train gets rolling (similar to Diablo 3).

Ive played a few sessions with Toxigen, if anyone needs a PL or anything HMU, but there is really nothing to speak of past the campaign at this point in D4s development. Doing NM Dunegon 70 and NM Dungeon 5 are largely the same experience but you character slaps out bigger numbers and can maybe run your "spec" more smoothly (and that does make it more fun...but...cmon).

I may do another sorc...just because im familiar with the builds / etc. Hoping for some balance changes as I love the playstyle / aesthetics / etc.

I read up a bit...so you'll have all your altars of lilith / map discovered / renown / etc...but you won't have access to your shared bank, right?

For sure - I'll probably go Barbarian as I almost always do, but I am also really digging my Druid so it will likely be a game time decision.

Yeah thats what I'm finding. The grind to find perfect 4/4 high rolled stats is just bad. Like my gear now is mostly 3/4 high or 4/4 decent. I don't see my character getting that much better aside from finishing my paragon board and maxing out the glyphs.

Sorc seems to be the worst for pushing high NMDs as well. I just can't get myself to play the only viable spec (ice shards). Hydra is having some strange interaction with scaling mob HP, so that may be the only spec left to try but I'd have to abandon a ton of my gear for it. Also the only way to play sorc is to get all 4 defensive skills and load up on vuln/stun/etc stacking modifiers and do big burst on your defensive CDs. Whereas other classes just breeze through the same shit I'm struggling on. I did a couple NMDs with Evia yesterday...I had 8 or 9 levels on him and his damage as a rogue was noticeably higher. Sure, I had the durability but if he were same level it wouldn't even be a comparison.

Agree on the seasons. Pretty much the only way to keep it fresh.

Trying to decide between necro and rogue for S1. RL buddy is leaning towards rogue so I'm leaning necro. Will be fun to learn a new class on a fresh start.

Welp. I spent 12 million gold rolling an amulet last night. Landed a near max CDR enchant on an already 3/4 near max. Slapped a max aspect on her and that slot is officially 100% DONEZO.

Ballin out of control.

I wanna play but it's been painful lately in my left thumb/wrist. Something about the ps5 controller in long sessions just wrecks my left hand....idk what it is. Never had this issue on any other ps controller. Hoping a few days rest mends it so I can get back to it. You're right the addiction is real!

We will have to run some more. I finally fixed my controller/thumb issue I think with some joystick extenders. I like those abilities you do that pull the mobs together in a pack so I can slice n dice! We’re a pretty good 1-2 punch if I can work on my survivability. Most of my paragon board that I have left to fill up will improve my armor and dmg reduction quite a bit so I hope it rounds out my build.

Yeah thats a combo of the sorc unique chest (rainment) and then the big serpent ultimate that continuously pulls them toward the center

im pretty much done though...ill play in some short bursts to boost the homies but just waiting for S1 now

think im gonna level as a summoner necro just b/c i want to try it then swap to whatever meta builds come out next patch
