I think it's a pretty cool achievement, he put in a lot of tedious work. Nobody else did. Basically all real "achievements" in everquest just involve doing a lot of tedious work. So what? Why all the hate?

There are far better metrics to value oneself in life than post count... or laughable non-speedrun speedruns leveling in EverQuest for that matter. (Plus my post count never seems to increment, /boggle) Also, I'm not your "mate."
