When I was delivering pizzas in college I think I was making anywhere from 15-20 bucks an hour. 6.25 per hour paycheck, 1.5 per delivery, and all the tips. Adds up pretty nicely. And was nice to always have a pocket full of cash. Also fun to get random bong rips as tips.

Was a pretty sweet gig, and with all the phone/car maps available now it’s gotta be much easier. Back in my day I had a Nokia brick and a sticky note with mapquest directions I pulled off the office computer.

When I delivered I had to use one of those grid maps to kinda find where streets were in town. Did it enough to where I had the town kinda memorized by block (A17, G7, etc). Was a fun gig, lots of really wild and interesting encounter.
