I asked after people won what they got and nobody answered so I didn't bother posting that part. It did make me ask Lazy in Discord if one of the items given was the item in question here and he confirmed it was. Do traded items show up in logs from the person giving the item? Didn't think they did and if so Lazy can't prove he gave that item, but really...why would he be dishonest about this?

Could the person have still snatched the non-lore gloves even though he already had a pair? Of course, but at least his story is truthful about the person in HHK giving him a pair.

Looking forward to GM response to answer all the burning questions.

Tangentially, I'm pretty sure if you try to snatch a lore item you already own the ground drop just poofs anyway.

People there either have enough money that they could care less about the gloves or they hate EC camping and all their toons have equal or better.

Just because you won a pair of those gloves in HHK from Lazy doesn't mean you didn't pick up a second pair off the ground. I mean, they're not lore.

This dude just knows that his gloves went missing, and when he came back Cained was standing where the gloves were, and made a comment about how he was streaming and everyone was laughing at OP.

Fuck off man, I just posted what happened, people can make their own conclusions what happened to the gloves until the petition is done. The proof people say Cained has that he did not pick up those gloves is not any kind of proof at all, its a claim that at another time on another day someone gave him a pair of those same kind of gloves, true or not true does not change the circumstances of my missing gloves. Like I said, if he did not take them I will apologize that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the conclusions myself and others may have made were wrong.

Yes I am aware that I am the idiot for trying to transfer an item from one character to another by placing it on the ground.. but I did it. I placed my Guantlets of Fiery Might on the ground, sat on the bag on the ground and logged out, immediately logged back in and they were gone, only person there was Cained who was eager to "help" me find them. Of course they were not there. After a few minutes I logged out suspecting him to be the person who may of taken them and logged another character on, went to Cained and inspected him, all his gear is bad except, you guessed it.. Anything can be done to see if those are in fact my gloves? Even if they are can anything be done?

I never took a chance to read the OP's original post but he left this out on purpose...

where he said he dropped the item was in the EC tunnels...past the 2nd torch.. lol he didn't do a transfer he dropped it on accident like an idiot and someone took it...He only thought I took it because he inspected a random person (Me) and assumed i did it just because i was close.

and what I mean by close is, I saw his /OOC and I saw his name around the corner where i was looking to buy an item. and i ran up to him and said did you find it? and quote he said "I just did it right here, 20 seconds ago"..why would i show up to him wearing the gloves? and let my name be known so he can suspect me? You messed up and your looking to blame someone..sorry pal ain't me

My didn't you mention that OP? there were hundreds of people around and you blamed me? why not 99 other people? this wasn't a random zone like kith forest where it was 2 people in the zone, NO. It was the Tunnels where hundreds of people trade at.. get a hobby
