There should be a Logan’s Run server. When you reach level 30 your character is deleted. The low levels are the most fun anyhow.

When groups are full i will hang around and dps outside the group. Usually guarantees you get the next spot or pressures someone who decides taking care of RL activities is more important and makes that transition flawless for them and the group.
I do this as well.

It really is a great way to squeeze your way into a group.

At 25-31 you are in the Highkeep Hold goblin leveling pocket which is one of the best in my opinion.

levels 20-25 are kind of shitty for everyone - you are too high for Oasis, Guktop is hit or miss with Scyer, LOIO is far away, and Mistmoore pond/GY are fairly shit camps honestly. The mnid and higher levels all have consistent grouping zone if you follow the 'main path'
I practically have the Lake of Ill Omen to myself at 25. Sure is terrible...

The words "far away" shouldn't really be in anyone's vocabulary playing this game.

People routinely don’t invite people out of the fear of forming a non ideal group. That’s the biggest issue I’ve seen that impedes groups.

I've been in ideal and non-ideal groups aplenty. If you got passed over twice yesterday, it was a group thing, not a p99 thing.

In fact, proper groups, with an actual tank tanking, legit CC, pullers who pull well, etc...that is my exception, and nonstandard "let the bard tank and we'll use healer's root for CC while at least two people AFK 45 minutes out of every hour...and we'll have the ogre shaman be the puller" groups seem to be the rule.

Groups are out there. I have easy days and harder days finding them, but they are out there. Even with my "no twink, no way" guild tag.

It's more extreme here, but that shit started with the shunning of hybrids in Kunark on live as the knowledge of the hybrid xp penalty slowly penetrated the player base. During Velious & into Luclin there was a fair bit of complaining on alt.games.everquest about pickup groups (i.e. groups not formed strictly from guildmates) forming in only two flavors:
- holy trinity (warrior+cleric+chanter) filled out with monks and rogues, or
- shaman instead of trinity and again fill it out with monks and rogues.

In short, the EQ playerbase has always been just as full of selfish pricks as real life. You need to make and keep friends if you want to have cool people to hang out with.
