I feel like everyone is too busy trying to get jabs in on Lhancelot and are ignoring the bigger picture here. I'm not defending OP or debating his forum quest skills but that enchanter in the screenshot is making the p99 community look bad. It's not like he ignored the buff request or even just said no, that's one thing. He decided he needed to be compensated because how dare a lowly peon ask him for buffs?!

there are almost no lowly peons on p99. Your 3rd, 4th, or 9th alt is not a noob, new toon, or lowly peon. They are royal heirs. It's no thing to toss someone 5 or 10pp for a quick buff that's going to expedite your xp grind by a good margin.

This is one of the most ignorant posts I've seen in a while. Yea, there are barely any new players, it's just a constant recycle of veterans rerolling over and over. Don't be an idiot.

Eehhhh. Its not all people playing alts, but I'd say you can conservatively expect 80% of players you meet in a KC pug to be alts of folks with at least 1-2 lvl 60 toons on p99.

So because you believe that all low level characters are alts to veteran players I have to provide evidence that they're actually new? Seems a little backwards.

I'd be curious to see how many new players are out there. I know there are some from posts here and talking to people in game (someone even asked fairly basic questions the other night, was kind of refreshing in a way). Its got to be less than 10% though,

i don't think so, on alts i've met tons of people who at the very least claimed they were fresh, and their periodic questions back this claim up..

particularly in unrest/kurns/mistmoore/crushbone

You and I must have a very different definition of what a new player is then. I guarantee that percentage is way higher if you're talking about people leveling up their first character still.

Matty, first of all I said there are "almost no." This means that I believe the majority of new toons to be alts of vets. Then you went to call me an idiot and ignorant because of the opinion I have formed while playing p99 off and on since Jan 2013. I can appreciate that I might be wrong and so I'm earnestly asking for even a modicum of evidence that there is significant playerbase of new folks.

Until you are can provide some semblance of proof to back up your claim, you're at least as ignorant and idiotic as I am for having an opinion.

I really wish I didn't have to spell it out for you like that.
