Talked to the OP in game a week ago. Can confirm the guy just has complete meltdowns about this game. screenshots to be added.
On that note outdoors will be best suited for the op. The GMs did him a blessing in this case. His mental fortitude was at an all time low.

OP is clearly in the wrong for breaking rules, but I honestly think allowing people to have a 2box trader in game would not only cause zero detriment to the classic experience, but actually improve the EC experience. Maybe something like limiting it to L1 characters and only in EC, Freeport, Nek, and Neriak. It would get way more people involved in EC trading, increase the availability of gear, and just improve the community overall imo. I'm not going to devote hours to trying to sell a bunch of sub 1k items, but I would if I could do it during downtime in groups or while LFG. I think we'd see a much more healthy and robust economy if players who normally log on to actually play the game could also get involved in the tunnel as opposed to letting tunnel rats control the EC economy.
As I understand it, the no 2boxing rule was originally intended to develop the community, and in that respect I think it is a great rule and has made the server better. However, to most people sitting the the tunnel trading is not really playing, and 2 boxing a trader would for the most part benefit the community, so it seems like an obvious place to make an exception. More people trading, more items available, more accurate prices, it just seems like a net positive with very little (if any) downside.

I absolutely think adding more people will make the market better. EC traders focus on big ticket items, or high demand cheap items that they can turn for a quick profit. That is great for players like me who haven't had to farm plat/gear in years, but the availability of cheap/mid grade gear for new players is abysmal. If even 1/2 of the people who only really log on to raid or group with friends could auction the junk they have laying around at the same time, you'd see a lot more stuff at a lot cheaper prices imo. Some are motivated enough to make threads in the EC forum, but I'd guess a lot are like me and just don't bother. Either way, 2boxing a trader doesn't really conflict with the objective of the 2boxing rule, and even if it didn't help the economy, it couldn't hurt.

I find trades are a good way to cycle lower value items.
I brought a robe of the oracle for a stack of bone chips in OOT before. Made my day when my wizzie was young on skele/gargoyle/spectre island! Today I found a silky who was wearing a newbie robe killing gnolls in south karana so traded away an advisor robe for a full set of gnoll scrolls. Hopefully made that persons day too! Often if someone is wearing something you want and you are wearing something they might prefer you can trade items, regardless of what the EC market says the low value items are worth compared to each other. I strongly avoid using EC.

Nobody can see how the same people boxing mules can easily manipulate EC prices?
