I find trades are a good way to cycle lower value items.

I brought a robe of the oracle for a stack of bone chips in OOT before. Made my day when my wizzie was young on skele/gargoyle/spectre island!

Today I found a silky who was wearing a newbie robe killing gnolls in south karana so traded away an advisor robe for a full set of gnoll scrolls. Hopefully made that persons day too!

Often if someone is wearing something you want and you are wearing something they might prefer you can trade items, regardless of what the EC market says the low value items are worth compared to each other.

I strongly avoid using EC.

When I came back to p99 my wife and I had just moved into a new place and she wasn't able to play yet. I had completely forgotten that you couldn't box to move items. It had been years. I moved some stuff around and at 3 am. Boop. I got kicked off and it struck me. I knew what I'd done and I fibbed about it. It was only 30 days. I ate it and moved on. My wife was like "I've never been suspended in a game! How do you get me suspened before I can play!" It was funny.

Learned my lesson. People do make mistakes.
