High Value items in a pick up group generally don't have a NBG rule set, it's generally an unspoken rule that it's GBN, you ninja'd the item, abused the person that won the item originally and now you're dealing with the punishment.

A lot of people did warn you and you didn't listen.

Your first problem was grouping with Kayyte. It's quite well known that she is fucking awful. Also, Venerate is fucking awful. Two huge mistakes.

You really should have dropped the group and downed the mob yourself, the greedy tards sitting back at your group would have eaten a shit pie instead of their delicious t staff. Lesson learned for all future monks reading this thread.

This, right here.

I got a Tstaff the other day. Wasn't on this server, but it was glorious none the less.

Maybe it's time to try a friendlier place, OP? One where people are A-Okay passing on upgrades for people?

at first I felt a bit bad for the OP, but after reading his nonsense and seeing the chat logs, it seemed to be a well deserved ban. GG GM's. Grats on the staff!

Nothing like giving a dishonest person the advice "Be better at being dishonest." You are all the reason that GMs have to get involved in the first place. A bunch of assholes who are just thinking about themselves instead of the community. A bunch of douche little egomaniacs, who thinks they are the center of the universe. "You should have found a way to cheat the group that's been helping you clear a path to him from being able to roll on an item that could help them all out." What a joke.

Next time, and hopefully for many other starving monks reading this post, there will BE no gm involvement. Just monks with their shiny t staves, no fuss no drama.

OP doing good work at least with this thread spreading the word and the true path.

Well the situation here is nub. KC has shit XP except for basement and shit loot and LCY is a shit camp. Despite Velious being launched of course KC is still somehow a crossroads for nubs to slowly move their XP bars, wipe unnecessarily and embarrassingly, have full groups for absolutely no reason, and bicker and call the GMs every single time a TStaff appears. Its history repeating itself.

The solution is to avoid KC pickup groups. Find a shaman and duo or find a couple buddies and have fun in a 3 4 or 5 man somewhere that isn't KC. KC pickup groups have been the butt of many a P99 joke for quite some time now.

If you don't hunt with friends and you can't get your shit together to herd some cats and go to a low population zone you're gonna have to deal with the PUG bullshit. All things considered the rogue is in the right here, however it didn't have to be this way.

If you want to get drops and make some plat and get your lvls you have to be intrepid and not ride the KC nub train. If you were in a duo or 3 man with friends you could have split the sale and each walked away happy.

Go to Velks and farm some Crystal Chitin if you want to make some plat. You don't even have to go deep into the zone. You'll get the same or better XP than shitty KC and actually get some sellable drops in a zone that has become relatively abandoned and its just port and a short run away.

Orrrrrrrrr you could post up /LFG in fucking........KC. The hivemind mentality on this server is absolutely fucking laughable at this point.

I've participated in fast xp groups on 3 different classes now in most all viable xp zones, and have not found the above quote necessarily to be true. MOST pickup groups on KC will have shit xp.

But ... even considering the most rocking seb group, none have held a candle to a few KC groups I've had, LCY camp taking the cake for best xp. During non prime time, a very high dps group with adequate support will have a hard time beating the LCY camp in an empy KC. You have literally endless easy, low hit point mobs to mow down with reckless abandon.

The fastest xp in the game at any given level range (massive zone xp mods aside) is and will always be finding the lowest level dark blue cons you can find and plowing through them (solo/duo/trio or hell ... even a full group). I have not yet found a group that could match the xp rate of my bard + cleric + 2 rogues, and a chain pulling monk dumping 3-8 mobs at a time on top of us in LCY while I cc'd then on the bard (aoe snare + group haste + regen). Hell, even yesterday in KC ... 2 epic/fungi monks + 1 cleric (levels 56/56/59) got some really insane xp keeping all of basement and half of turnkey down before repops. KC has its charm ... but that charm doesn't involve the 4pm-12am CST/EST prime time or the weekends where 30+ goobers are trying to smash themselves into too few camps.

But sorry to derail.

OP is a fuckwit who got a well deserved time out.

Well I was second highest roll and didn't see the first roll because my chat box was being blasted spell spam etc, I was actually under the impression i won the roll since the whole need before greed thing was out the window, later to find out it wasn't the top roll, that is when the GM came. Anyways thanks for your input!
