guns are stupid as fuck and easily mankind's most regressive invention of all time, but that's human nature. we're all stupid pieces of shit who want to kill each other. its hard coded into us genetically.

so the gun control argument is also stupid.

more gun owners' children get into their safes & shoot themselves or friends accidentally resulting in a fatality, than there are gun owners who have successfully used a gun to defend themselves from home invasion.

you're mad @ my opinions because you see firearms as a toy/hobby. you're not even mature enough to take a step back and realize "hey, these gun things are cool and fun to collect, but they're generally used for bad things and killing people."

there's been like 30 mass shootings stopped by armed civilians since the 70's, according to right wing sources with very very liberal definitions of a mass shooting.

according to the fbi, which has a strict definition of a mass shooting, we've been averaging 1 mass shooting a day in the US for the past 3 years.

them's some good odds, definitely a good reason to encourage the general population and school teachers to carry around killing machines

Meh, for a fraction of what I spend on hobbies I can buy a gun off the black market or for a fraction of that build an IED. But I'm a law abiding citizen and would never do such thing. It means I will never have a gun or weapon and will be vulnerable if someone didn't give a shit about the law. It is even illegal to own a bullet proof vest without a permit. Shit laws designed for sheep imo. All it would take is a bunch of crazy religious fanatics and a crate full of weapons shipped illegally and they could go door to door and wipe out a whole suburb before police can respond in force.

We are a lot more vulnerable here in Australia than people realise. I got jumped at a train station before fighting off the attackers back in 07 and it took 2 hours for the police to arrive for a police report - some randoms tried to gank me irl with a sneak attack while his pals were shit talking, they couldn't take me down with the cheap shot and I recovered, got some distance and put my guard up and yelled at them to bring it- they chose to piss bolt while I chased them down the street calling them a bunch of fucking pussies. Anyways police here take forever to respond if the crime is not right in front of a police station.
