For Tunare to be legit kill a guild has to legitimately kill the entire zone then engage her at the end of the long long long hours of raiding with whoever they got left. In classic not everyone could stay the entire 6 to 9 hours to clear.

I find it funny Rampage used everyone to help them clear POG then has the nerve to say they were testing Tunare for practice, lmao you all got USED with all caps.

Everyone that was there that day wanted to be. A ton of people walked away like 30 pieces of random armor pieces they needed, We were all there over 9 hrs and was fun times for all involved. Im sure everyone there respected the fact that we wanted to try Tunare as a guild(70ish people), and not just zerg her down with no challenge.

Nothing like arguing over who got a server first "legit" kill on content 15 years old. Flash-forward five years and the same people will still be fighting over these same mobs. The stuff people bicker about on these forums is unreal and really kinda sad.

Because raiders who put in time from their normal lives (which believe it or not most work still on p99) have a real sense of accomplishment and pride in what they do, even for a game this old the remake into classic focuses that challenge again for players, not like your typical MMO today that gives it all to you. At least on P99 classic you got to work for it to get to that point and when you do it instills a sense of pride into each player. That is why people bicker and argue over trivial shit here and will continue. The same as gangs who control their blocks.

If you log into an emulated version of a 20 year old video game and feel accomplished and instilled with pride, you should really try some new things in life. These are the same people that fought tooth and nail for the 400th Trakanon spawn.

I just beat diablo 1 legit last night, I felt accomplished. I didn't get demonspike coat this round, but going to hit it again, and hope for the best! Got some great jewelry and weapons though!!

I think today's AoW kill was a good sign of server health compared to what p1999 looked like 2 years ago. The fact that Velious cannot be completely dominated by guild and other people get a chance to kill real mobs is cool. This expansion should be much more sustainable than the last.
