Back onto vulak He has the largest loot table out of any raid mob in the game. 24 loots, restricting him to drop 2 at a time exponentially increases the chances of RNG to make some items near non existent since he is a weekly spawn.
loot saturation with him isnt easy to do since he has such a large pool of items.

With him dropping at least 3 and sometimes 4 on live when he was a 3day. I shit you not I camped him 36 consecutive times to get the drop i was looking for. Some other items i never even saw. Thats 36 weeks if it was a weekly spawn with almost twice the chances of the item dropping.

Lets also consider the turnover rate of players quieting just from normal burnout, gear is given out that disappears due to that.

He was the loot pinata on live for all the hard work and time required to get to him / kill him.

If you dont want to give him a chance at 4, fine.

But please make him drop a minimum of 1 armor + 1 weapon + 1 random from the full list.

I know even with that theres a good chance that a year from now there will still be things that havent dropped yet due to the way RNG works.

bump for classic server/droprate plz.

The drops should really be increased (even if not classic) to cater to the new age of 100+ zerg guilds. We simply don't have the skill guilds did back in 1999. We have been playing wow for like 5 years and challenges are pretty scary.

Warders are dropping much more then two items. I assume Tunare will as well. The issue is Vulak is only dropping two items very very frequently when it should be rare for it to happen.

Think it's fair compromise for raids dealing with things like luclin mobs ect.
Oh, I'm sorry sir. I apologize for the content that was created for your enjoyment. I am truly sorry for all these unnecessary difficulties you face. We have become aware that any form of challenge is just such a hassle. You are surely correct and should be rewarded for all the sacrifices you have made while playing a free game created by someone else.

Ignore the screenshots and maps that show the flurry drake corpses and locations and keep marching to the same tune, I'll get that loot vending machine moved to the entrance for your convenience. Just hold your breathe until then.

This is why red needs to be on its own forum. Too many individuals cannot be civil, especially with the individuals who help to make classic happen.

To the Devs:

There are currently roaming flurry drakes which roam through the 2 safe spots listed on the map (in the hallway going North/South to the Triplets and at the bend in the hallway going East to the Duo/Exit) making these areas not safe on P99. This is not classic.

Evidence posted in these threads:

http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=205328
http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=182194

The evidence confirms via posts on PoM boards, Cleric boards and LoS front page updates, that during Velious these locations were safe to CotH to with no roamer and safe to AFK at for several hours with no roamer.

Also there is a patch note quoted from just after Luclin launch confirming that certain locations in NToV would no longer be safe due to additional new mobs.

If only people could be more civil and less douchey when bringing these non-classic issues up. Maybe the Devs would be more inclined to spend their free time making these fixes.

not sure why my post was deleted?

going to reiterate what daldaen said again

---

all of the evidence that we've been able to find about flurry drakes and the PoM safespots suggest that those drakes shouldn't be pathing through there and should only be pathing around vulak's ring.. i actually haven't been able to find a shred of evidence from velious era that suggests those drakes were there. the only thing that we've been able to find suggesting that they were put there is from a luclin era patch note saying that they added a few more drakes to ToV

those mobs existed, they just didn't path in the areas that they're pathing in now

That has nothing to do with this thread.
