Gamma is making EQ unplayable right now, hope this was not intentional.
It's just going to cause people to use 3rd party gamma changers.

Kanras: Reduced Make Poison skill cap to 200.

Not playable without another 3rd party program. Edit: And it ruins my gamma outside of game.. frustrating. Edit2: It's actually much darker than that pic indicates, after rebooting that screenshot got much lighter until I load EQ again and my gamma screws up. I can't even see my character in ThurgA if I zoom out.

something's fubar with it being too dark
I use wineq2, if that helps with troubleshooting. It looks like the game swings the gamma way down as soon as it begins to log onto a server

Thank you, devs, & all the testers for making this happen!
1) Having a bear of a time getting the spell files to work. 2) Finally was able to get in-game, but everything was too dark so i re-logged to reset settings & BAM! spell files error again /sigh 3) I think Titanx (in his comment above) is correct in that reducing the Make Poison cap will cause problems in the (near) future. I wish I could remember how that all went back in the day, it's been SO long. I was the first Rogue on Xegony to attain 200 Make Poison & 200 Apply Poison back on Live. I used to keep super detailed notes but that's not helping me now since the hard drive they were on took a nosedive yrs ago.......off to do more research. | ||
