What could be wrong about requiring all cops to wear cameras? Not that expensive, would solve all these problems. I don't see the downside of that. Any of you have a reasonable objection?

They work . The problem is that there are so many vendors out there with trash product. We use a provision system that is awful. (Yes I do support for a police dept) . Also most police depts have no idea the amount of storage space keeping video for YEARS is. I believe that shit gets lost unintentionally all the time.


A) Police officers are computer dumb
B) Police management never makes good decisions about product.
C) there is a ton of wear and ttear on these systems and product fails alot.
