weak as fuk yo
Hahaha more immaculate virgin stuff, as if holocaust werent the ones 8v2ing people in Sro, swamp and Lguk 24/7 when server started out. There was no "evil, greedy zerg" to defeat on day1, holocaust was that zerg. Precisely why i was trying to get xp loss in pvp removed from day1 so it would be possible to challenge zergs like holocaust. No need to thank me for my efforts, which made it so you stand a chance against Nihilum now.

Samwise and Smedy do either of you even play? Neither of you have a clue what has been going on in the last few weeks. I also think Colgate quit after Nihilum started stomping again. He also only brings up the old shit.

Both guilds have assholes and great people, Nihilum rules the box, Azrael is the competition. Pick a side and stick it out and enjoy.

red99 wasnt meant to be like rz. there are no antis. its zerg or die. red99 fun as hell until end game when you realize its not an esport of friendly competitiveness but take everything and kill everyone. i think if you never played live you'll enjoy red99 alot but the nostalgia ends quickly if you try to do big things here.

server thriving and getting new players but its the wrong type of new players. no leaders, only followers. i've leveled quite a bit with them and they are all cool people but noone here has the idea to start something or make a name for themselves from scratch. they see the shortest and probably the most logical path to BIS which is joining nilly.

i dont know where im going with this but look on blue. they have about 5 times the active population as us but 20 times the guilds. so many factions and clusters of players from casual to ec tunnel rat 24/7. red99 lacks this kind of diversity and it really makes me sad.

So in other words friend I'll break it down for you since the post was about unbiased. Info on which guild to join. After reading the 10 pages of friendly chatting I believe the answer you're looking for is, we should probably all just quit now because getting 50+ seems like enough fun to want to /wrist and hope you bleed enough on your comp to break it so you can kick your eq addiction.
Safe travels.

Sincerely,
Taledar

That is the consequence of a low pop box, not really a player thing. If the devs wouldnt have reacted way too late on xp loss in pvp we might still have a 500+ box, which would make multiple guilds that do raid content viable. We might see a 500+ box again if server stays on course and they dont implement other terribad decisions without debating the pros and cons with the players first. Group xp bonus prime example of the good that can come with an exchange with the playerbase.

Im an anti personally, that is my natural fit. I just dont devote enough time to the game, but a twink guild to defend noobs in rags in unrest is on my to-do list if I ever get around to having more time to devote to EQ.

I mainly played here as an anti as well, with the same mentality i had on Rallos. Its not because youre an anti that you dont like pvp, you have people engaging you all the time so the "shitlist" fills up pretty quickly. Unfortunately it wasnt like this here for like 1.5 years or so because xp loss made it that most people didnt want to pvp unless they were on a gank train like holocaust. Yet another reason why i pushed for xp loss removal.

Variance on blue vs no variance on red. You can't win mobs on red without having at least 80% or so the pop of the top guild which tends to be in the mid to high 40's on avg. (yes you can snipe mobs here and there but that's not enough to keep most people logging on)
