Wow. Those guild names take me back.

I can't really remember much about my time on live besides general things and an ocassional specific fight in this or that zone with some RL buddies back in the day. But seeing those names reminded me of them!

As I flew by you almost breaking the sound barrier, I'm sorry I didn't take pity upon you slow moving folk and invite you to join me in a group so you could feel what real speed was like.

srsly once you fly across dreadlands going selo's speed high above the tree tops you'll never want to go back.

I used to feel the same way about bards on my Holy Steed. It was so satisfying to slowly catch up to, and then pass, a maxxed bard, typing tauting /emotes the whole way.

Drinal Server; I was grouped in OT with a few people on an alt when another group showed up & started pulling every mob. Many complained in /ooc & /shout and I'm sure even in /tell. When they trained us with a gaggle of lions & more and our group had to zone to Skyfire; I decided the war was on. I camped out, brought in my bard - ran passed the fort & rounded up every guard I could tag, ran them right up to the offending group as I backed of & used Fading Memories. I think I would have won Americas funniest videos or some award had I recorded the events tbh.

So, I trained a bunch of selfish assholes that day & was a hero according to some. I felt slightly bad since the goons, both cliff golems & more wiped out the "offending group" very fast; but deep inside we all felt justice had been served to a group of people that felt entitled to do anything while others had no rights at all.

What is it about this game that can bring out the asshattery in so many people?

After the CT 2.0 zone revamp (made it level 65), I'd advertise free ports to all the newbie zones and gather up a buncha fresh-faced lowbie toons.

The smart ones would watch for this and drop group but there weren't many smart ones. The rest would die terribly upon landing. Good luck with the CR! /bounce

I'm sorry to the players of Maelin Starpyre that i farmed the shit out of Sceptres of destruction to the point that the #4 guild on the server woke the sleeper at 3am on a wednesday just to put and end to the farm.
Also sorry to pretty much every Taiwanese player from the nameless (Hi Kylin Eyes) because it's a good chance i trained you at least 3 times. And definitely more if you were ever trying to kill a mob i wanted. Had to pay the rent somehow (and by pay the rent i mean buy a house from it)

My friend got a week suspension for dropping EC Mules in Skyfire encumbered when they added /targetgroupbuff and for the first hour allowed Portals to be TGBed

started on the tribunal in 99. In Lake Rathe, aviak camp, I asked some random guy to help transfer a couple items from one of my first lowbie toons to another one - skull of jhen`tra & some other crap. By the time I switched toons he was offline. Later that day he was on but gave me some story that his brother playing & the items were already gone... Anyone want to fess up to that one?
