I feel for those that lost their accounts because Sektor logged into them, and I'm sure he's a really great guy irl and all that, but...

it's good in the grand scheme of things that this sort of thing happens. RMT is immoral; it's the sort of thing that ruins games. No one really recognizes it as immoral, so the staff here works to rightfully vilify the act. If you RMT you better be responsible enough not to log into friend's accounts, and if you're a guildleader you need to insist that your members be upfront about this to prevent it from happening more in the future. A guildleader with integrity would inform the staff when they suspect their members of RMTing, too.

Sektor is friendly but he doesn't seem all that nice if he's willing to put your characters and accounts on the line :/

Maybe he didn't know it would happen like this. But after this and what happened to Nihilum recently, there are no more excuses. Players that do shitty things will bring their friends and guildmates down with them. The best solution to this is to not be a shitty player, and not harbor known cheaters in your guild.

Immoral is something like killing someone, raping someone, stealing from someone, hurting someone emotionally, etc. Buying an unplayed account on an emulated video game [which is likely itself illegal despite staff insistence that it's not] definitely doesn't fit my definition of immoral. Is it against the rules? Yes. Should you not RMT? Correct. But immoral? Lol.

It causes damage to gaming communities, and the MMO genre as a whole. Pay to win is not cool in any instance. I'm not comparing it to murder and rape, but just because it's benign in comparison to extremes doesn't make it right or even amoral.
