Some kids are just bastards. It might be because they're too intelligent to be controlled by empty threats, or not intelligent enough to understand that they aren't the center of the universe. Are you suggesting that the relationship between a parent and a child is a democratic one? I mean, I don't care either way, I'm just pointing out what this comment seems to suggest.
