You start casting the dispel as the other guys casts root. Your summoned staff gives you a freebie too.

It's not chivalrous dueling; the players are still left weak and disadvantaged after they kill their NPCs. It's generally how we did things on VZ.

it's not that complicated of a concept not to put yourself in a horribly disadvantageous position when enemies are in the zone
