Wendolyn had bow of the underfoot and shardwing arrows to counter the boulder strat fyi. But you didnt have bow or boulders, so I wouldn't have used them against you. I might have used them against Stasis because I felt like I had something to prove against him and likely woulda gone super try hard.

Stasis has rocked my shit in every 1v1 on the server, however most of those took place in small cramped spaces like sol a and sol b where I just honestly don't feel comfortable even walking around in on a barbarian, let alone trying to joust rogue v rogue.

I still hold to the fact that there are only 4 rogues better than me on this server(Wendolyn, Stasis, Salem (though we've never fought 1v1 and watching his videos I feel we are close to even), and Tarwine). I played a rogue a lot on live even though I only got to level 35 on it, so I never had to deal with discs and tstaffs.

My rogue mechanics are nowhere near where they were back then either, even against experienced jousters I would never waste backstab rounds and I waste probably half of my backstab rounds these days [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

yea i would have used boulders if i were you. this is my first melee character though, so it's all a learning experience for me.

95% of the server would have used boulders given the opportunity at a title. I just honestly don't really care about a title that much. If we could have events like that every week where there was no prize given out I would be there every single week just for the fun of it.

I like fights being set on an even footing with no outside influence and with as little rng as possible, the boulders were a serious advantage for every barbarian and only the barbarian, and also really easy to acquire.

The bow of the underfoot however is more rare than a tstaff. While that would put non barbarians on equal footing who's going to spend 2 weeks farming the hole hoping that it drops?

it was on my list but getting gear/poison/and lvl 60 took all my time up. had to get 5 levels in 2 weeks to be 60 for the botb.

I hadn't played in a month and a half. Also didn't plan to play in the botb, had a tooth pulled the night before and was pretty medicated and sore that morning...big Sirken convinced me to just play and if I did bad I had meds to blame it on.

I also didn't have the right poisons, all I had was spirit of sloth which haven't landed in 21 applications since I started making them. In my opinion direct damage was the way to go, I got a pair lent to me by big Salem but they were only level 2....had I actually put in the time to farm the right poisons I might have beat Gream even with my horrendous round 2 performance.

Yes sad I couldn't make it to claim my title as I would have kited Gream with Bow of the Underfoot and Shardwing arrows as stated (will trade 45 dmg for 35dmg shots and faster delay all day) but RL captured my time, so grats to everyone who participated it looked fun.

Had I actually taken the time to make soul burn, or actually work out the resist rates on the snare poisons (since sloth apparently just doesn't work period)...then I mighta been able to pull it out in round 2 is what I'm saying.

Regardless I played the entire 2nd fight wrong.
