Texas can't. That would be a violation of federal law. Constitution or not, Texas couldn't survive on its own, currently, because of the massive debt we have. We have a blowhard closet case for a governor who does nothing but line his friends pockets, but because the urban population doesn't out number the rural and suburban, Perry keeps getting elected and perpetuating his cronyism. He makes Bush II look like an amateur.
