Only one thing will bring more bards to this server. Completely wipe the server and delete every ones chars. It will fix everything!

enchanters are fine

and im sure there will be like 500 lvl 52 hybrids that come out of their exile for the tournaments

i know of at least 3 mighty lennart barladore and gloinz

Ironically there prolly would be more bards for a several month stretch via a wipe it just wouldn't fix any of the issues here

I've been bard; easily the best class in EQ. Healing is just too much fun though!
