The 'classic' damage of affliction is 6 damage per tick. Envenomed Breath's classic damage is 27 per tick. The problem is not your poison dots being different or underpowered or whatever, it's that some disease DoTs don't appear to be doing their appropriate damage.

I noticed sicken is doing scaling damage from 3 to 5 instead of 2 per tick. It's rather unfortunate if affliction is at the 2005 damage level here too.

That makes sense. After a lot of reading and use of the wayback machine I found conflicting information, but some did say that Affliction was only 6/tick.

Overall, I have noticed today that casting affliction + env. breath takes down most things my level, and even though the poisen DoT is not nearly as efficient I do make up the mana by having more time to med since the kiting time got cut in half.
