Dis is stone cold pro studio shit. They haven't done an album together since they got too cracked out to make music anymore and Ronnie had a "look at me" party on Ozzy's coattails.

The last time I saw BS was with Ian Gillan as front man, then saw him with DP when they reformed. I don't really get into these X vs Y battles. Love Iommi, love Rhodes, love Gillan, love Dio.

Yes, but this is 3/4 of the people who discovered metal back in the studio.

They've done touring under the monniker playing the old songs for decades, but nothing new that is anything like the original has happened since then. Not that this is "like the original," but just this recording is a jesus h. fuckton better than anything ozzy has ever put out solo or anything that dio sing-alonged to.

I'm glad Ozzy got back with the black sabbath crew.

After he replaced Zakk with Gus, I was slightly disappointed. (I understand they had creative differences, but I am of the belief that if you replace long standing members of a band, then that band ceases to exist in it's natural form)

Black Sabbath is more dark rock music than it is metal, despite the credit they're given.
