Yep, that was something in classic that was in for a while until they got around to changing it, as was the pet healing threat (which I hope to get changed through my bug report here so we can have that back to the way it worked in classic as well)

Yeah noticed a fairly big hit to mage pets after the patch, even at low levels.. =/
