This wasn't an addition of the items, but a revision in the name on the unfired version when made with pottery, rather than 4 different racial cookie cutters and a generic cookie cutter all named simply "Unfired Cookie Cutter"

Doh, saw the patch message about the renaming of the different unfired cookie cutters and my brain assumed that the smithing combine would work now. *sigh*

I know that Beer Braised meats is under the resolved thread, but the solution is to load the new UI.
Is there any way to solve it without loading the new UI?

Not quite sure what you mean. Why would the UI have any influence on the tradeskill recipe being in the game?

(Edit: I think you might be referring to the situation we had with certain research spells only being combinable using the modern tradeskill interface which was removed recently. I haven't seen anything posted about beer braised recipes falling into this catergory but I can check tomorrow.)
