Same here. I was having to simply use Experiment, which I don't object to, its just that its a little more convenient having the recipes than having to pause and go to EQTraders.

I am glad that you can't miss-combine like it was in the original game. I remember losing my Screaming Mace and Book of Venier (sp) to a miss-combine as I used my sewing kit as an additional bag.

It's a little detail, but you can't break small bricks of ore into small pieces of ore with a chisel anymore -- it's giving an invalid combine. Made starting blacksmithing up a little frustrating.

I noticed this myself today...is this working as intended or is there a fix incoming...also getting ore from a tarnished bastard sword show illegal combine message and well as a tarnished shortened spear.

links to EQ traders if tht helps...i have no idea if it is classic or not

I think in this case, things should be rolled back to the way everything was before the patch.

I know for a fact that research spells also have a few combines that can't be done on this server without the research UI, was posted many times. Unless these have been fixed first we need to have the interface back as it basically makes these spells unavailable.

Same here, if taking away tradeskill recipies is an effort to make the server more "classic" ... i guess i am done trade-skilling.. that manual combining is too much of a pain in the butt..

I don't know if this is my bad luck today or the change to classic, but when I forged 14 dairy spoons at Blacksmithing 56, I didn't level a single point.

Like I said, it could be my bad luck. However since there was a change, I figured there'd be no harm in posting the inquiry. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The addition of recipes and recipe fixes, had nothing to do with disabling the new interface. Being someone with repetitive stress disorder, carpal tunnel, whatever you want to call it, I cannot do sustained clicking as required by the old interface. I like doing tradeskills though, and the new interface made it so I could, so those changes were totally independent of fixing the recipes.

Blame me for breaking bards all you want though.

Still confused. So is the recipe search disabled on purpose or is it a bug? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Think it's deliberate. But yeah, I do remember why tradeskilling was so annoying in classic [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I miss the interface search option.

On a side note, on live you could open an item link from using the search index, i could never do this when using the index on p99 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
