It shows (along with his story) that BDA got the merb down to 5% or so and then stalled so some random could come and loot.

don't see the issue. they could have just killed and locked the corpse i guess, but not like it should take long for someone to get to neriak.

And the reason they did it (got the mob down to 5%) is so when their shady tactic pissed someone off, that person couldn't take the mob and kill it because they wouldn't be granted xp.

Well ragefire is a triggered mob. My only reason for bringing him up is that Amelinda explicitly says the raid rules apply to ragefire, who is duoable, therefore the same ruling should apply to Verina.

because we should call off our guild fear raids when a chanter is trying to solo the entrance to get another "solo artist challenge" hole in their imaginary punch card
