Rolled a warrior as a first toon my bad, but I'm in my 30's now and I won't give it up <as I don't mind a little challenge>. Dual wielding either obsidian shards or lariats <depending on the situation> have a few +dex items and buffs usually. Unless there's root and the group is working as a team it's 50/50 at this point on weather I can keep aggro or not. When Kunark comes the aggro problem will be addressed then. After that I'll remember every screeching little min/maxer bitchbag that gave me shit and whined and pissed and moaned about this subject. Especially when it's midnight in KC and your tank just /q out. I don't beg people for groups. I put up a flag and they know what I am before they invite me. No point in inviting a war to group and then crying about aggro because your wowified hybrids and nukers turn your chosen tank into mediocre dps or you're a ritalin soaked crackbaby that has a fucking brain hemorrhage if the exp slows a bit.

Get a ranger, tell him to not use his mana for anything but root. Even better, get a ranger with dual EBSes. He'll be so happy to have a group, he'll fuckin root adds for you if you don't have a chanter or bard. If the root breaks and the warrior loses aggro, the ranger probably has aggro from DW/DA and chain-rooting, so your casters/healers won't get crunched. Root, root, root. XP groups on easy mode. Total aggro control, plus DPS. Rangers. FUCK YEAH!

My level 10 ranger is a pro ass tank. I dunno what you guys are talking about. Obviously at level 10 I have experienced enough to know how things will play out endgame. Fuck a warrior.

I played my bard up to 50, and the only time I've ever stolen agro, is because I wanted to be a dick to the tanks and mock at how pathetic their disease cloud is.
I'm playing a warrior right now, and as I've stated before, I can out agro a shadowknight or paladin easily. The ONLY thing I can't do, is taunt mobs higher level than me, so that's why I rely on procs in that case. It's not a question of whether a warrior needs to sit there and build up agro or anything, it's the fact that the bard needs to take off that fucking agro stick from hell and stop dying because of it.

What's the "aggro stick from hell"? Staff of writhing? I use staff of writhing and PGT and I almost never steal aggro at my level. | |||

Then you're not trying hard enough lol. I didn't even have to try to steal agro when wielding the staff of writhing on my bard. Pissed a lot of SKs and Pallies off.

When the staff comes out, you know Doug is getting serious.
