is the last dev comment on invis pulling which seems to confirm it is considered by the devs here a legit classic technique. while many of us disagree, the devs seem to feel otherwise, so any reference to it as a bannable exploit is laughable.

So can we confirm that invis pulling, at least currently until a decision is made otherwise, is 100% acceptable on this server? That seems to be every indication.

Look at any piece of major legislation passed by Congress. Almost every single bill contains unintended loop holes, or some intended, that seem to go against the spirit of the intentions of the bill. Does it mean those who take advantage of said loopholes are breaking the law? No, of course not. Often times Congress will then pass a law to close the loop holes, but until such a law is passed, the action is 100% legal. How much more so here where in fact the said "loop hole" has been endorsed as a classic intended feature, that may or may not be closed down the road.

What I mean is, you can stand beside an aggro, non-see invis mob, while invisible then click this item. Your invis will be topped up and you wont have become visible, even for a short length of time.

Its a bit over-powering for pulling, which was why it was nerfed. You could invis, run through loads of non-invis seeing mobs, tag a mob you wanted to kill, re-invis instantly, then run back through the blind mobs.

Use #1- Pulling. This device is incredibly useful for pulling mobs while other mobs are in between you and your target, and they do not see invis. Step 1- Pull. Feign off any adds from the pull by darkness splitting, or if you have pet hold, Pet pulling. Stand up and tag mob, instantly click your COS and run through all the mobs that any other pulling class could not have worked around, and would have had to clear to reach the objective. This technique will make your life as a puller much more easy.

When I am pulling, I can click my CoS while running around looking for a mob to pull, tag it and instantly reclick it and not have to worry about adds while bringing mob back to group.

It gives you an advantage on pulling singles on non-see invis mobs that have a high social assist range. Basically, have pet up, FD, invis. Pet pull, stand, invis and run to where you want to engage the mob.

Yes, red had like 40 players on it @ the time and I planned on fucking around casually on blue and then when red picked up again trading back for something fun to play on red. Don't see the sin there pal.
