Just how long does it take to establish a camp? I would say casting a pet and buffing up while nobody else is there would count as making that camp yours. Just because someone can out nuke someone else doesnt make any mob they want theirs. Kill stealing is kill stealing imo. If you were in Yiams shoes Im sure most of you would be pissed off too. Binding somewhere to "camp" a named is fine as long as you maybe check to see if someone isnt already there before you blow the named up.

Lets just turn this thread into the Penoy experiences thread! I know there's some good ones out there, because whenever I'm in a group and Penoy is in the zone at least a couple of my group members are talking about what a piece of shit he is.
Mine is pretty tame, just me and a group camping the bar room in sola doing various goblins around there. Penoy was continuously pulling mobs from our area to bring back to entrance to powerlevel his buddy. He didn't snipe any nameds from us, though I don't think he got the opportunity to so that's inconclusive. Anyone else got any fun Penoy stories? | ||

I'm new here, so this may be a dumb question.
Is there an official server policy on camp ownership? I was a guide on live during this period, and vividly recall that Verant quickly realized there was no way to fairly grant ownership of an area to a group for any duration. The official policy was this: Ownership is earned on a per mob basis- first to engage the mob(ie do at least 1pt of damage) has the right to kill/loot. | ||

I went to help him kill Mutant when we were like 25ish, lulled and he pulled with no mana, we both died and I made him give me gator sleeves before I helped him again ^.^
He got the weed and I got some new sleeves though! | ||

 it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable. | ||
