pay for everything

most content unlocked, have to pay for expansion if you want endgame, but other than that free2play

No, LoL forces you to pay for champions you want because it's an insufferable grind to get them by playing the game.

TF2/Dota2 actually have the best f2p system because literally EVERYTHING is cosmetic and you can get it in game.

I used to enjoy the grind (wonder where that comes from), and enjoyed playing the free ones on rotation - though with more and more characters emerging it I'm sure it gets difficult to get one you want [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Game gave me about 2 months total of entertainment until I finally left. Worth the box cost at least..
