Troriste was still bound in Permafrost after they turned binding off of raid zones, that is how he pulled bears for us to charm to kill Vox - he stayed bound there until kunark as far as i know, may be still bound there

im interested in hearing about what zone file arzak taught you to remove from your EQ directory, so that your corpse in VP appears before you.

if you remove zone files from VP and try to log in, the game will crash. Put the zone files back in, and you will be outside of VP (at starting city? i think?). It also works in regular dungeons but it only puts you at the zones safe spot (usually the entrance).

You don't sound very confident here, despite having 'done it'.

It doesn't work, you need a patcher to replace the default files into the game for it to port you somewhere.

Nice try tho mang.
