Science, and think of history as the experiment. If it happens consistently throughout history and fails, what does one expect when we repeat history?

America is a corrupt democracy. And the people let it get that way. Its the paradigm shift of ethics/morals that the majority of the population "accepts". People have fallen into such a state of apathy, we just don't care about what is happening around us.

Our government gives guns to rebels, no one does anything.

We invade Iraq due to "WMD's", no one does anything.

Government has 5 agencies to govern every aspect of life(NSA, CIA, FBI, DHS, NSA..the FED, dep. of education...and more), and no one does anything.

Obama administration spends 100 million in a vacation trip to Africa, no one does anything.

If you are a whistleblower, you are a traitor. No one does anything.

People reveal government secrets. You get the idea.

The only thing that will fix anything at this point is a reform, or a revolution. Sadly, the majority is hypnotized on being "left wing" or "right wing". No matter what your beliefs are, you are in either or for these categories. People follow the mainstream media, which is very biased, but they get the ratings because people watch. It all boils back down to the general mindset of society.

The only thing that would solve these problems is taking human beings out of the equation. GMs, Guides,NPCs, PCs all of it controlled by AI. After the character creation screen the only things you can determine are where you go, what you specialize in and what things you buy and sell. EC market can stay but prices would be controlled by AI.
